Can you OD in homeopathy?

Can you OD in homeopathy?

Too much of anything can be harmful, but as so little of the original substance remains in homeopathic preparations, an overdose is extremely unlikely.

If the question is can you take too much of a homeopathic remedy? the answer is definitely YES

The reason is that if you ask the question how does the remedy help you with the condition that you are treating, then you know that the remedy does something. Different remedies do different somethings but still they all do something. Doing too much of something can be a serious problem. So if you take too many doses of something you can cause trouble. Taking too much on the first dose isn't likely to make a big problem but that doesn't mean I would test it by taking a whole bottle just to find out. However taking something that only needs two doses in two days and instead taking it for a week can easily have you coming down sick in some noticeable way. The symptoms I have seen most often from too many homeopathic doses are catching what seems to be a cold, and digestive distress. There are times when taking a dose every hour is not too much, for example if you are trying to prevent yourself from coming down with a cold and have the right remedy for stopping it.

Not in the same way as drugs, no.
However, it's still recommended to stick with the recommendations on the bottle. There are some homeopathic remedies that work very similarly to vaccinations... they give a little of a toxin or poison so your body's immune system kicks in and overwhelms that small amount. If you took too many of one of those products, you could get enough of the toxin/poison to make you sick.

Naaa....have you accidentaly popped a few of the pills instead of one?? this sometimes happens not to worry if this is your case...
ps: Actually it's the opposite, sometimes the more you take the less effect it will have!!!

From what I learned in a homeopathy class: You cannot OD on homeopathy. They told us that if your child got a hold of & ate the entire bottle, they would be fine.

due to the fact that homeopathy dosn't even have a bases in any scientific field as to how its supposed to effect the body, your as likely to over dose on it as you are to dose on it.
