Homeopathy sulphur 200ch?

I have been taking sulphur 200ch for a few months now (constitutional remedy)....I have really bad acne and little white heads(gross), all over my back...I am in my 30's and have had good skin my whole life....Can sulphur cause this...and is it a good thing...is it detoxing me...I'm on the remedy for other symptoms....not the acne...thanks

First I'll apologize that I know very little about homeopathic remedies. But since no one else has answered your question I will tell what I do know about detoxing. Whiteheads are not typical detox sign, but rather can be a signal of a need for detoxing. They can also be caused by DRY skin.

Dandelion root tea is good to help the organs to detoxify. If this is related to a nervous condition or stress, Nettles tea is good. If you are undergoing hormonal changes, consider taking Vitex (female) or Sarsaparilla (male) for balance.

Since it is only on your back, it may not be internal. Have you changed your hair care products or laundry detergent? Could this be an allergy? What about your skin care products or bath soap?

If it were me, I'd try gently exfoliating with salt and then use Jojoba oil on my back daily, maybe mixing in a few drops of pure essential oil of lavender (anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial) & carrot seed oil.

Never take daily dry dose of any Homeopathic remedy. It is strictly forbidden in Classic Homeopathy. Just stop taking the Sulphur 200CH. Report Abuse

You may as well stop taking the medicine. All homeopathic medicines are made of water; your "sulfur" probably contains no sulfur at all. Homeopathy is a fancy word for "placebo." It does nothing.

Only a dermatologist can tell you about what might be causing the skin problems, but you should at least try stopping the medicine.
