Which one is more scientific: Allopathy or Homeopathy?

In allopathy, new medicines (sources are mostly chemical/synthetic) are constantly being created, tested in test-tubes, sick persons, or animals (rats), and going in and out of market every few years once their side effects (typical examples are of steroids, antibiotics, hormones) become obvious to the general public. How many allopathic drugs of yesterday can be found on the chemists鈥?shelves today? They all had their day, and their alluring names have faded into oblivion (because they are declared ineffective or dangerous), only to be replaced by newer drugs (now you can judge yourself how scientific allopathy is?).

Homeopathic medicines (prepared from many natural substances such as herbs and minerals) used in the times of Dr. S. Hahnemann (200 yrs back) are used even today because of their efficacy. They have been tried and tested on healthy human beings. They are known, trusted, and reliable.

Homeopathic medicines are no different from sugar pills. That is a fact. Homeopathic medicines are made of water. That is a fact. They don't contain any of those herbs and minerals because they are diluted, over and over, until they have none left. These are all facts that no sane person can argue with. HOMEOPATHY IS NOT A SCIENCE. IT IS A SCAM.

"Allopathy" is a word idiots use to describe medicine that works, in contrast to homeopathy, which does not. Medicine, like all sciences, is constantly changing and improving.

Some drugs have harmful side effects, yes. Doctors don't use ether or heroin, because better anesthetics are available. When nothing else was available, however, the risk of addiction to heroin was a small price to pay for painless surgery.

Like most people, you hear "steroids" and think of muscles. Those steroids are a tiny branch of all steroids, many of which work wonders, reducing inflammation and making life better. Antibiotics have saved more lives than we can count. I don't even know where you're going with hormones.

For every drug that fades away, there are many that don't. Aspirin and penicillin have been curing disease for many decades. Vaccines haven't changed much over the years, and we wiped out smallpox with them. We would be able to wipe out polio, too, but for people like you who can't accept that modern medicine works.

If you honestly believe homeopathy is better than classic medicine, here's my question: if you were about to undergo surgery, would you rather have morphine or a homeopathic remedy?

d_nancy....this is NOT a question....there are medications that have been on the market for decades & are still on the market.

The fact that things have been found wrong with certain medications leans toward the fact that it is more scientific.

There are some herbs & minerals that have side effects, for example Kava Kava, St. Johns Wort. I have seen their side effects & overdoses.

So, while I'm a great believer in natural remedies, your conclusion does not hold up.

here all information the different between allopathy and homeopathy................
Actually, it is Allopathy that is unscientific, not Homeopathy. Allopathic Medicine claims to be highly scientific due to it use of cutting edge technologies but it is the theory behind the flashy technology that is flawed. Homeopathy is based on logic and precise adherence to natural healing laws applied with careful observation and analysis of symptoms as well as knowledge of the healing potential of medicines based on direct Human experimentation (provings and accidental as well as suicidal poisonings). This system of methods and practices of promoting health and healing disease was set forth nearly 200 years ago by Doctor Samuel Hahnemann, M.D. in his ground-breaking, and still generally unrecognized and undiscovered, medical work Organon der Heilkunst, the first edition published in Germany in 1810. This is an external link to both the 5th and 6th editions of The Organon at "Homeopathe International". In English the title translates from the German to The Organon of Healing or simply The Organon. This is the fundamental work upon which Homeopathy is based and has and grown into the modern holistic healing science and art that it is today.

Technology is great and can be beneficial in some cases, but the core of healing is the Vital Force, the body's own vast reservoir of largely untapped healing powers. This is the energetic force which is stimulated by homeopathic medicines. Funny, many allopathic doctors dismiss Homeopathy while they don't even have an accurate understanding of the definition of this extraordinary healing system. Homeopathy is not, I'm afraid to disillusion you, a system of medicine in which infinitessimally small doses of medicines are administered. No. Homeopathy uses (except for the very lowest potencies from 1x to 6x and 1c to 3c and mother tinctures of course) dynamically prepared energetic harmonics of the medicine to stimulate the vital force directly. It indeed is a bio-dynamic system of medicine which employs the unique energy signature, if you will, of medicinal substances in various potencies or strengths to assist patients in self-healing. As a matter of fact, most Homeopaths mostly employ the potencies of 6c and above, which are well above the dilution level in which Avogadro's number pretty much becomes irrelevant.

There's No 鈥淭here鈥?There...
Allopaths are heavily trained in math and science so it would be a very simple calculation for most to make to find out the probable number of molecules which exist in each centessimal potency of an homeopathic remedy. Moles and all that sort of things you know. You do the math. Can an homeopathic pharmaceutical company and ask about how the medicines are made. They are made very precisely according to the details set out in the United States Homeopathic Pharmacopeia. If math and science are to the rules of judgement in trials and clinical tests, then it must also be the measure for theoretical speculation and inquiry. There are no molecules of the original medicinal substance from which the remedy potency has been made in a potency above the 6c. I challenge anyone to prove mathematically to me that there is a measurable physical substance, either by chemical analysis or mathematical equations (other than sucrose and lactose from which the pellets are made, which are medicated with an alcohol potency of a remedy and then dried and packaged...).

Adjunctive and supplemental therapies aside such as vitamins, herbs, massage, chiropractic and so on, all healing is done by the vital force when a patient undergoes Homeopathic Therapy. Technology can save a live and this is fantastic, but the routine, daily practice of medicine must first be able to understand the fundamentals of healing. Using the expensive, high-tech, poisonous or dangerous procedure first doesn't make sense when healers should do no harm first, as they have sworn not to do according to The Hippocratic Oath. The gentler, safer, more curative modalities should be tried first in most cases and these are governed by natural healing laws that are simply not taught in medical schools, alas. Well, there is always continuing education and homeopathic seminars for medical professionals are being offered more and more now which is good.

Since Allopathic Medicine is not based on any logical or scientific philosophy, its perspective reflects a view of medicine based predominantly on Pasteurian germ theory of diseases which almost necessitates a war-like mentality in perceiving illness, patients and diseases with the concomitant destructive and unnatural methods inherent in such a view illustrated by such methods as the administration of toxic medicines, routine suppression of syptoms, radical and unnecessary surgery and dangerous procedures. It is no wonder that Allopathic Medicine is based today on such a perspective characterized by a mechanized, Frankensteinian view of the Human Being: the therapies and treatments that have developed reveal just such a mentality in regards to medicine.

Homeopathy demonstrates daily that health and healing come solely from the Vital Force, the dynamic energy system which governs and maintains homeostasis, growth, regeneration and all aspects of living in a body of flesh and blood. Homeopaths understand that the source of disease in most cases stems from energetic, miasmatic and vibrational disturbances to the Vital Force and which only dynamic or energetic (not crude) medicines can realign back to an harmonious and balanced state of health. The Vital Force is the name of the life force which in other systems of natural healing has different names, such as Chi or Qi in Oriental Medicine and Prana in eastern yoga practices. But there is one huge difference between these ancient folk medicines and the new medical system of Homeopathy: Homeopaths do not decide how to heal the body, but know that the Vital Force knows what to do. We have to attend to acute and life-threatening ailments with physical intervention and allopathic methods, but not for chronic conditions and diseases. We do not theorize as to five organ/zhang-fu theory or yin/yang or winds, or acupuncture point or herb selection, but need only give the most similar remedy to the objective and subjective symptoms of the patient for the Vital Force to react to it in a curative, gentle and rapid way. Homeopathically speaking, this totality of symptoms expressed by the Vital Force of the patient represents the actual disease as well as its healing agent.

Allopathic Medicine has many wonderful things to offer us. And when disease or trauma are of a severe nature or Homeopathic Doctors are not available, Allopathic Medicine can save lives, relieve suffering and "buy time" for the patient until a holistic healer such an Homeopath can be consulted to address the inner aspect of the disease. I believe the two main systems of medicine should work together side by side. But Allopathy has purchased influence in Washington and has a near monopoly on accepted medical theory and methods as well as control of congressional purse strings. One way of denouncing Homeopathy by those small minded practitioners who wish to be rid of professional competition is to cry that Homeopathy is not scientific. The allopathic view of medicine has been sold to the government and the public so successfully that few have the ability to see outside this box. For example, it is completely erroneous to challenge the science of Homeopathic Medicine to demonstrate its healing powers by insisting they employ the same protocols and parameters that the Allopathic School of Medicine uses to test its own theories. Homeopathic Medicine is based on completely different principles than Allopathic Medicine which require completely different protocols.

Homeopathic Medicine is founded on the principle of individualization of treatment for each patient at any one point in time, based on the totality of the symptoms, (which supersede in hierarchy, but do not exclude for consideration in the remedy selection process: diagnoses, prognoses or laboratory test results). One important reason that you can't accurately demonstrate the healing abilities of Homeopathy using allopathic controls is that each patient requires a different remedy. Some study participants will need the same remedy but most will require different medicines for the same condition, tailored to that person's symptoms, history and etiology. You cannot perform a homeopathic clinical study for any particular condition or disease using the same remedy for every study participant as is the custom with allopathic studies because it simply doesn't work. And like the mistaken belief that homeopathic medicines are really just highly diluted medicines, the lack of knowledge of the individualization requirement in homeopathic therapy reveals even more ignorance about Homeopathic Medicine by Allopaths, and surprisingly, a lot of "Homeopaths"!

good luck.
