Is homeopathy real? 10 points to best answer!?

does it have any side effects? thanks!

If by "real," you mean a legitimate, viable system of healthcare, yes. A good resource for its history, as well as conventionally acceptable research models, is through Homeopathic Educational Services.

On another note, your question sounds sincere, so perhaps you are unaware that saying something to the effect of "10 points to best answerer" violates community guidelines.

For what? I have no idea what you are talking about.

Personally, I choose many homeopathic remedies before I go to a doctor. If I can fix the problem naturally, then I do. If homeopathy doesn't work, only then do I go to a doctor....

For example, rather than taking antibiotics, I drink orange juice with 20 drops of grapefruit seed extract three times a day. GSE is an all natural antibiotic and has no side effects....

I don't really know how else to answer your question. It is very vague.

Yes and No.

On the one hand, there is no evidence that very small amounts of commonly occuring nutrients have an immunologic effect. Homepathy is not a serious approach to acquired immunity. The mainstream science of developmental immunity...vaccines... is the way to go there.

However, the other aspect of homeopathy, that our susceptibility to sickness is dependent on our health in a holistic sense, is perfectly valid. And you can't argue with "whatever works for you, works", even if the cause is the placebo effect.

well it is for real and also there is enough talk about is ability to cure.
How ever every medication has its limitations and it should be ascertained.

Yes, it's very real. My family and I have used it for years now. We don't take any over the counter medication or prescriptions. We have not been sick in 8 years, not even a cold.

A lot of people like to think it is real. Whether it works or not who knows. It is probably better than doing nothing however. Even if the effect is no more than a placebo. Who knows.

It works great!! I used to get sick now and then, until I started taking homeopathic remedies, and now I barely ever get sick, only every now and then!!

It is real, in that homeopaths really use it to con money out of people.

It has no effects, therefore it has no side effects.

As far as I know, there are no SCIENTIFIC studies that show homeopathy to work.

The only "side" effect is that you might remain ill from lack of treatment.

I would suppose there are side effects on certain herb combinations and tinctures
