I've had this for months, I guess only thing docs can do is surgery as antiobiotics aren't much help in this. Anyone know what homeopathy remedies I could use that are likely to help me? thanks... . Sorry for the cut and paste but i just posted this: Homeotherapy is a fake treatment based in mythology. it works on a few very wrong princples. 1. dilution makes the solution stronger, by the time you get a bottle is diluted there probably only 1 molculeor less(not an exageration) Most expensive bottle of distled water you can get. 2. this solution(thankfully is diluted) is comprised of what ever they think caused your ailment. If you have asthma they will put cockroach legs in the solution. If you want to cure a rash they will put human puss in the mix. you really don't want homeopathy Addition: There have been cases of homeopathy companies secretly putting percription medication in their products cause they know they don't work on their own. If the doctor suggested other options (including surgery) look into it, because there is no homeopathic therapy that will do anything for an infection like this (really any infection). Most episodes of ear infection (especially adults) will clear-up on their own. The only proven way to speed up this process is through minor surgical procedures (placement of tubes) and adjunctive therapies like decongestants or steroid ear drops. Antibiotics unfortunately do show limited efficacy as far as reducing duration of infection but may help relieve symptoms. Homeopathy/natural medicine reverts back to principles of "old times." The problem being, if the old ways worked why would they have made new ways? There's a reason the wheel is still the wheel... it worked no reason to change. Likewise there's a reason the pony express is no longer around... there are better ways to communicate. |
