Is homeopathy as a medical science rational ? or is it just having a placebo effect?

Homeopathy was medical science intil the 1920's.

Nearly 100 years later a homeopathic remedy still only costs about $5. Not alot of money in it. Needless to say todays pharmaceutical industry tries to keep homeopathy under wraps.

A couple of my favorites:
Arnica for trauma injuries and bruising
Gelsemium for stagefright (ie speaking in front of a crowd)
Rhus Tox for joint and tendon pain and stiffness.

Safe and effective when used properly.
Actually many drug companies use homeopathic drugs as inital testing drugs. Homeopathic drugs are usually stronger and cheaper. If the used these in the industry they will loose money

dont think that it is rational---it is on presumtion---who is coming on dinner
I'm neither a scientist nor a doctor so I don't know if there is actual evidence behind it, but I personally think it just has a placebo effect... but what's wrong with that? If it works, it works. :)
