Does homeopathy really work? |
Does homeopathy really work? HOMEOPATHY DOES **NOT** WORK. It's not a scientific practice. Furthermore, standard Medicine has nothing to do with "ALLOPATHY". The term allopathy is misused, and has pejorative connotation. The term allopathy is wrongly used by nonmedical practitioners like chiropractors, naturalists, etc., and (sadly) real doctors as well. Have a look at http://www.ncahf.org/articles/a-b/allopa... Source(s): National Council Against Health Fraud (NCAHF) http://www.ncahf.org/articles/a-b/allopa... It can possiby be helpful to some people in some ailments, but it is dangerous when used as a replacement for modern medicine. It does work - it makes homeopaths get rich. Imran CSI - Common Sense Imran http://imran.com/media/blog/ jt's response was very eloquent...wouldn't change a word. I would agree that the ailment should be considered when pursuing a homeopathic treatment (for example, I don't believe I would turn to homeopathy for cancer), but I have had some moderate success treating hypothyroidism and minor depression. The regimen my doctor prescribed was LOTS of vitamins (rather costly - up to about 32 pills a day, including Natrum Mur, multis, and Advaclear), and a natural (vs synthetic) prescription thyroid. It did help me overcome "the blahs" that the hypo caused, and I was successful with needed weight loss because of the combination of vitamins and improved diet. Overall, I am very happy with my homeopathic treatment, and, to answer your question, for me, it does work. |
