What is homeopathy? a system of medical practice that treats a disease especially by the administration of minute doses of a remedy that would in healthy persons produce symptoms similar to those of the disease =) Source(s): merriam Jazzie`s definition is correct but no one has cleared my doubts. 1)Hahneman(discoverer of Homoeopathy) claimed he had an attack of malaria after taking Cinchona.How did he diagnose malaria when malarial parasite was not even discovered? 2)If "Medicine"is a science how can we have more than one "SYSTEM" of it.Can we have three systems of physics four systems of mathematics and so on ? 3)If "that system "cures" cancers and that too is "cheap" why is not widely accepted? 4)If modern medicine is for some people and homoeopathy is for some others who will decide which is for whom and on what basis? I think it is quackery. Homeopathy is all natural "medicines". Traditional medicines are created by humans whereas homeopathic treatment contains nothing manmade or synthetic.
