Can I change to Homeopathy treatment from Allopathic one for TB?

I have been taking Allopathic medicines for the treatment of pulmonary(lung) TB for the past 1 month. However, there are some side-effects which include loss of appetite. Also,I am unable to swallow the tablets and so take it in powdered form, which some say might not be correct. I would be very comfortable taking Homeopathy medicines. What should I do ?

No. No. No. No.

First, let me say, I am sorry you got this terrible disease, but it is curable.

The tuberculosis bacteria is a very nasty, tricky bug. It hides from the immune system and is very hard to get rid of. It's deadly, and if you go off the drugs, the bugs left in you can become resistant to the treatments and you will be having and spreading resistant TB, which is really bad. Then when you really need treatment, it won't work and you might die.

The drugs are rather severe, but you don't have to take them forever. Just for a number of months until the TB is cured. The doctor will test you and tell you when you can stop.

The formulation of the drug (powdered or tablets) is actually very important to how the drug works. Ask your doctor to suggest what to do if you find you cannot swallow tablets. It's really vital. Some drugs are coated with waxes and other ingredients so that they skip the stomach (where they'd be destroyed) and be absorbed in the intestines, so powdering them can change how they work in your body.

I can't stress enough how IMPORTANT it is that you stay on your course of treatment. If you have loss of appetite, drink a nutritious drink like Ensure. You may have to force it down, like medicine. Eat highly nutrious things like eggs, meats and cheese to get a lot of calories in a small package. It's not fun, but this is only for some months until you cure the TB.

Homeopathy works for some things but NOT for bacterial infections which are contagious and deadly. You would be being very horrible if you stopped taking the drugs and spread this terrible disease. It took years for medical science to come up with a drug treatment for TB, which killed millions around the world, and it's a disease of young people and is a slow, painful death, too.

Talk to your doctor about this, and if he or she won't talk to you, find some kind of counseling in the public health system as this is very important for you and everyone else.
Gwendd gave it to you straight up...TB is a very tough, resistant bacterium that is closely related to the bacterium that causes leprosy...both have very slimy coatings that protect them...both can be fatal, and both are very difficult to attack. Do NOT stop your antibiotic treatment under any circumstances...you will be left with an infection that cannot be cured! TB is NOT to be taken lightly, there was a time when it was a long, lingering, wasting death sentence...Only in the last 50 or so years have we been able to treat the disease. IF you stop taking your meds, you will die...pure and simple, you WILL DIE!
I would do a lot of research before making a decision. I would not rule homeopathy out.

That would be incredibly stupid to do.

TB is a serious illnees that is easily curable with antibiotics. No other treatment is effective and you must keep taking your drugs in order to prevent the development of an antibiotic resistant infection (which is big, BIG trouble).

In the western world, it is actually illegal to refuse treatment because of the risk of epidemic.
I guess all those who have answered your question previoulsy are not experts on either TB or allopathy or Homeopathy.

At the outset ask yourself why and how you got that disease? I am sure that your exposure would have happened along with many individuals, did all those individuals near you acquired that infection? Why you? you are going to blame your immune system?

What i want to make clear is that you as an individual is different and unique from others. Is it not? mentally, physically and yeah spiritually. When thats the case, the treatment for you also should be individualistic. Only then it would make sense. just analyze yourself. Do you have the same mental attitude as the other TB patients ? definitely not. some are depressed, some not bothered much, while some feel their entire life is over with that infection....Then how the same allopathic TB medicines can be prescribed to all? if you think logically you can feel convinced that no disease affects the body alone. it has its effect on the body as well as ther mind.

Allopathic treatment is like trying to fit the same jacket to all the Johns. all Johns can definitely wear the jacket and have their body covered but will it fit them accurately? same is the case when you take allopathy for any infectious disease.

so take a therapy that gives you an individualistic treatment, that takes you as a whole, as a person. not just as a subject of body with TB bacillus in it. and definitely allopathy cannot give you such a treatment. you see, allopathy can give you a palliative effect, suppressing the disease, any how you can always be sure of the disease attacking back more vehemently if you get it suppressed with allopathy.

only homoeopathy can give you such an individualistic treatment and without any adverse effects. and it had been proved beyound any doubt millions of patients that homoeopathy gives a quick and gentle relief than allopathy in the case of TB.
