What is the remedy for Eczema in scalp and chest? Homeopathy/Ayurveda? |
I notice red patches in the middle of chest in 2002 and in 2005 the severe dandruff problem (since 2001) found to be none other than Eczema. Scales from red patches on few areas of scalp. Few on chest and few on back. Applied Conaderm shampoo, Meta Foam on scalp and Mometasone Furoate Cream for skin on chest. When I apply it soon disappears and reappear again after some time and aggrevate when take eggs, fish and groundnuts. Please provide me permanent cure for eczema. Well, you can grow out of eczema, and I do suffer from it too. Triamcinalone cream .01% is a great perscriptian! Talk to your doctor, but you have to use it EVERYDAY for a long time in order for the eczema to go away! As for the scalp, I don't have it there, but talk to your dermitologist! This is an internal problem, can be associated with the nervous system and the lack of essential fatty acids, minimum take 1-2 Tablespoon of olive oil every day and drink alot of water and eat fish. often. Get off caffine, uppers and or meth Try Cortaid. You could probably get it for couple bucks at Wal Mart. I had weird red patch high on my forearm and Cortaid made it go away fast. It wasn't poison ivy, but I'm not sure what it was I had. It is often from a food allergy - esp might be wheat, soy, nuts, etc. Sounds like you already made this connection. Try elimating these and see if it goes away Also good quality fish oils or if allergic to fish FLAX oil (omega 3's) help a lot of people with eczema. The herbs burdock root and dandelion root (taken internally as tea, tinctue, or capsules) also reputed to help. Oregon grape, calendula, or chamomile cream externally may soothe skin. I am a holistic nurse My husband suffers from scalpal eczema and it was recommended by our doctor that he use tea tree shampoo. The tea tree helps to invigorate the scalp and slough off the flakes. You could probably use tea tree oil on your skin as well. I would recommend buying the shampoo at a salon so you would know you are getting quailty oils and ingredients, it may be more expensive but if you are really wanting to clear it up, I would go for the best. I know we buy Paul Mitchell brand and it works great for him. Good luck and Blessed Be. V- I had been to half dozen doctors about my Eczema and only got meds that did not work. The last one I saw gave me a handful of scripts and as he was going out of the room he said, "Fish oil has been known to help some people." Well, I have been on fish oil for about 8 years and no more cracked, bleeding fingers. It helps in other ways too. I am 68 and had a heart cath last year. The doctor said,"No blockages, no plaque, keep up what you are doing." |
