Anybody know about rescue medicine(homeopathy).? |
I heard that it can take care of dying bird/human till further treatment arrives. Where can I get that? You are looking for Rescue Remedy and it is a flower essence. It is similar to homeopathy. Any health food store will carry is or go to fes.com. I don't go anywhere without it. I have a special bottle in my backpack for hiking. It is one of the ten remedies I always have with me. Besides there are so many things that can kill an animal, how would you know what to use? The ONLY thing I know of that can (often) keep a human alive 'til help comes is CPR. Then they're put on life support by EMT's and taken to the hospital. There, ADVANCED life support (intubation, oxygen chest tubes, etc.) can keep someone alive, sometimes indefinitely (say, if they're brain-dead). As for birds, I have no idea...never heard of one being resuscitated! homeopathy does not work (for ANYTHING) do not make the mistake of thinking it does. the idea behind homeopathy is that compounds that CAUSE a symptom CURE it when it's given to someone who has that symptom. something that modern medicine says is bull. FURTHER the second idea is that putting this 'medicine' in a suspension and diluting it will make the side effects LESS but not the symptoms your trying to treat (counter to all known scientific evidence) even crazier some claim suspensions of 100000:1 of medicine has the same effect as medicine of 1:1. oh yah it gets better. suspensions of so low a concentration (where talking more then even trillions to 1 here) can have the same effect. hey heres a news flash. the chances of having even one molecule of the original medicine in the mixture being there is zilch, this is the "no medicine medicine". this would be like dropping a SINGLE grain of sand into a swimming pool on one end of the pool and scouping out a DROP of water on the other end and claiming the water you extracted some how has the medical powers to cure cancer. short answer? if you really want to help someone who is dieing learn propper CPR. tons of people die every year because they don't learn this basic treatement. you see it on TV but just because you see someone flying a plane on tv doesn't mean YOU can to. learn the steps. want to do more? learn basic first aid. no this does not mean putting a bandaid on (though even this is done a suprising number of times WRONG) with all these real world real helpfull treatement systems out there that you can learn with very little effort in deed why would you spend your time on things like homeopathy which even at a casual glance seem redicules.
