Is it possible to forget someone altogether through hypnosis?

I suffereing from a broken heart its been 8 weeks since my wife left me she wants to see me one day a week cos she wants her own space,i struggling to cope with that i gutted, i want to try and move on but i wouldnt be able to accept it if she did, can hypnosis help me to forget her altogether so i dont rememeber her?know its a silly question but i dont know how else to cope,i cant seem to accept it and move on.

No, it can't. If you are particularly subseptable to it it might possibly encourage you to think about her less, but hyposis is not mind control and definately not that refined.

Unfortunately, there is no quick fix. There are ways to help you cope slightly better - if you were coping particularly badly, anyway - but mostly it's just something you have to work through the long way round.

I've 'been there', and I do sympathize but..
REAL bad idea!
I doubt if any ethical therapist would even try it.
You've got to deal with the situation before you move on.
If you don't, it will stay with you in one form or another.
Hypnosis would just cover it over, not fix it.
You're hurt. Give yourself permission to be angry.
It will help. Just don't let it get out of hand.
