Does hypnosis work for confidence?

i have downloaded some hypnosis stuff for my ipod cause i need to improve on my confidence, anyone tried this? has it worked?

In an interesting experiment a few years ago, psychologists did an experiment with self hypnosis tapes. These were ones that you played under your pillow as you slept. They compared 2 groups of people....one who listened to "quit smoking" tapes, and the other who listened to "boost your confidence/self esteem" tapes.

Both groups reported improvements in their respective areas. In the second phase, they SWITCHED the tapes without telling the subjects...the smokers listened to self esteem, and the wallflowers listened to stop smoking. Guess what...they still reported improvement.

I have used hypnotherapy to help with confidence and self-esteem. Actually, confidence and self-esteem go hand-in-hand. The hypnotherapy helped me to develop my inner strength, increased my self-esteem and gave me self-confidence.

When you use hypnotherapy you learn how to internalize positive images of yourself through positive visualization. It helped me to learn to stop my negative thought pattern. It helped me and can help you to practice creating a sense of confidence and self-determination.

However, what is made for the general public (free downloads, CDs etc.) may not work for you, as the secret of hypnosis is to find the inductions which are specific for the client's problem. A CD for the general public or a free download can never be specific to your needs. That's the only risk you take.

If you really want hypnosis to do wonders for your confidence, go to a certified hypnotherapist.

you will find that Australian Bush Flower Essences combination called Confid essence will work faster and be more permanent than the hypnosis but you can use both to make it even better.

use 7 drops in a water bottle, shake and sip till you feel better :o))) can take the 7 drops directly but it is not stronger in effect, but perhaps more convenient.
