What does a psychiatrist do when a mental patient is challenging hypnosis?

even if the patient has agreed to undergo hypnosis..why does the patient have a difficult time following through?

does the hospital give them something to relax if so?

why and how does this help the patient further?

Thanks for your answers!

Hello

Any psychiatrist would now that someone with a mental illness isnt the best candidate for hypnosis.

Sadhara

well ive never heard of a psychiatrist prescribing hypnosis. unless the patient is in a psychiatric hospital, its up to them if they want the treatment or not

I suspect in that situation the psychiatrist would look for another avenue of treatment.

He whisper " Abra - Ka - Dabra "

You must be mental cause I don't know what the hell you just asked.

They just hit them over the head with a mallet.
