My Fiance is having problems with her sex drive and we want to know whether or not Hypnosis is a good solution?

I did ask this question before, but it seems the answers were aimed at me, I'm sure there wont be much difference but I'd like to ask anyway. I am a man, she is the woman, we wnat to know for her.

Hiya Luc N,
Have you thought that she doesn't fancy you anymore?
Do you boff in bed?
Do you?
How sexy is that?
Do you take her for granted?
Come on young man, I bet you do.
When was the last time that you really romanced her?
I am a practising Hypno-Analyst of many years, and therefore, more than qualified to answer this question, but love is a two way street isn't it?
If all else fails, then you should both go to a Hypno-Analyst... not therapist.. they put stuff INTO your minds, we want it taking OUT!
Sod the money, what is your priority?
Come on... ask yourselves a few searching questions.
Don't keep asking on here, until someone gives you the answer you want to hear... the one which you can cope with:
"They were all about me"
Look for the truth, and you will find it, but be prepared to be upset... you are a big boy now.. right?
All the best
Dream-Maker

The first thing you need to realize is that for women, sex starts outside the bedroom. Try to figure out if she is stressed, which decreases drive. See what you can do to make sure she feel special. Nothing is sexier than a man cooking and cleaning, so she doesn't have to. Try writing her a love letter. I know it sounds cheesy, but make sure she feels special and appreciated. There could be things going on at work that are affecting her emotionally, leading to a decrease in her drive.

Hypnosis may work, but try to find the underlying cause first. It would be better to spend the money to have a doctor test her hormones to make sure they aren't out of balance, or to get her counseling to deal with her stress. That way you can fix it for good, not cover it up temporarily.

Have you contacted a doctor , there are many things that can affect someones sex drive. Hypnosis may work although it's a bit hit and miss try going down the medical route as well. Counselling may help as well to find out what is causing the libido shift. There are particular therapists aimed at sex counselling, partner counselling and experimentation in your sex life may also help .

There are a lot of factors that affect arousal, if the lack of sex drive is caused by a past trauma or event, hypnosis could be a great way to workout any troubling feelings.
The psychological reasons for loss of libido include depression, stress, body image issues, attraction outside marriage, lack of interest in a partner, Sexual Performance Anxiety or from previous abuse, trauma or neglect.
Alternatively, the problem could be medical. Hypothyroidism or being very underweight or obese can cause reduction in libido. A trip to the doctor may be in order.
However, Hypnosis can be expensive and has no guarantee to produce a result. How about experimenting with different types of foreplay, or investing in a few lubes or sex toys before jumping straight into therapy.
As a woman myself I can safely say that it is perfectly natural to sometimes 'just not feel like it,' even in a mutual and happy relationship.

maybe, but maybe a therapist as to why she is behaving this way is a better solution. She may have some underlying issues and at this time maybe she doesnt want to , or cant, or doesnt understand to discuss them with you. Unless its a physical problem like hormone issues, its usually in her head (which makes it very real) The good news is that she can change that and sometimes it takes a little help from a professional. Stress can cause all sorts of physical issues and is usually the leading cause in most physical problems. Maybe she needs someone to talk to about it. Good luck

She could try some simple self hypnosis techniques:

Induce a state of hypnotic self-relaxation and concentrate on the specific sexual problem. Begin to ask a series of questions relating to this problem

In answering them during your self-analysis stage of auto-hypnosis, try to develop some understanding of your particular sexual maladjustment.

Hope it helps :)

I think people tend to over-analyze and obbssess too much on the low sex drive thing. Life is stressful. Stop acknowleding it for awhie and see if it gets better. It could easily be that she has succomb (sp?) to the power of suggestion. You might be convincing her its worse than it is.

Depends upon your mindset. Not an expert, though, so you could ask Al Perhacs who's not far from me:

...he has free downloads on his sites above, too, so you can try and see for yourself. So hey, go for it!

Hello

Yes it could help, not directly via telling her to have an increased drive, but but finding the Why to her issue & resolving it.
