Does anyone believe in those Self Help Audio Books/Hypnosis?

My cousin just dropped off a few audio books & self-hypnosis(thing) he says I should try them out. I'm willing to get them a try but I believe that if a person it gonna change & better themselves that have to want to change & don't believe some CD's are gonna change a person. Does anyone believe in this stuff?

generally speaking, if a person is going to buy self help books and tapes then they are wanting to change or they wouldn't have bought them.
i know they work because i purchased them ,got rid of phobias and also got motivated to make the changes that i did.
none better than the books and tapes by Paul McKenna.it's amazing stuff that most people would never be able to think of themselves.
the people who put out the most successful CDs and books also know the most effective techniques that can help speed up change.

I've not tried self-hypnosis myself, but I have used subliminal software, like Think Right Now, which I found quite effective. However, I experienced the best results when I tried binaural beats. I have to say binaural beats have proven to be one of the best self help products I've tried. And, yes, I'm one of those people who's tried an awful lot. When it comes to self-help products, I do think you have to approach it with an open mind, a willingness to embrace the experience, otherwise you'll just get in your own way, so to speak.

聽Yes I do and it worked for me... One thing to remember, it is well worth listening to any hypnosis cd or mp3 you purchase a number of times before deciding whether you like it or not. Sometimes it takes a few times of listening to a recording to really appreciate it. Never forget that variety is also useful. You may find initially that one set of self hypnosis cds are useful and then after a while you may choose a different set of self hypnosis cds. For example, it can be very effective to have two or three different self confidence hypnosis cds or mps from different hypnotherapists. Each hypnotherapists recording, whilst having some common ground, will also have differences that may provide a comprehensive range to any subject such as help for confidence and better self esteem.
