Can you still get fibrous tumors after you have a partial or full hysterectomy?

Can you still get fibrous tumors after you have a partial or full hysterectomy?

Once the uterus is removed, there is no longer any uterine tissue in which the fibrous tumors can grow. So you cannot get any more fibrous tumors.

This applies whether the ovaries are removed during the hysterectomy or not.
