Any natural suggestions for coping with early menopause, due to ovary removal and hysterectomy? |
I am using HRT and would like to get off them. I feel cheated of my youth, but thankful i am alive. I did not expect to be dealing with this until another 20 or so years. I feel I am aging so rapidly, but feel so young and vibrant on the inside. I have tryed black cohosh but they did not stop my hot flushes, I was having them every 20 mins. Any suggestions would be great. I understand your dilemma I to had a complete hysterectomy at age35, I took the hormone replacements but I always felt very agitated, I started using Estrovent it is a natural hormone therapy, also progesterone cream works. When we get thrown into menopause UN naturally it's a shock to our system, It plays havoc with our emotions, and body. You could also try eating foods with natural estrogen's in them like sweet potatoes, eat plenty of Green Vegetables, Also find a good vitamin and mineral supplement. It may take a few months of taking these things to work because they have to build in your system. I still have hot flashes but not a severe. Keep your skin hydrated, I use a skin care line with vitamin c from Adrian on Hsn, it brings back the youthful glow to your skin. Remember your skin is a organ and needs to be fed, I also make my own face masques from bananas, strawberry's, aloe, these infuse natural peptides into the skin. I hope this helps Hun, if you have any questions feel free to email me. a lot of women use the soy products on the market &the rub yam creams from health food stores. but if you stay on the hormones they surely will monitor your blood levels. Botanical products containing or acting like estrogens may provide some of the benefits of estrogen in relieving menopausal symptoms.
