What are the reasons behind hysterectomy's? |
I'm just curious there are a variety of reasons that a women would get a hysterectomy. Most of the women I know that have had hysterectomies had the procedure because they developed a disease or cancer of their reproductive organs. If that woman is post menopausal (past child bearing age) it is an option for them to remove all the organs in order to reduce the risk or recurrence of cancer. |
