Will a laproscopy vaginal hysterectomy ruin my tummy tuck I had done 2 years ago? |
I have had numerous abdominal surgeries after my last child due to ignored infection, tummy tuck was done for medical reasons, then I had a tubal ligation, now they want to to whats called a LAVH Laproscopic abdominal vaginal hysterectomy, I was hoping it wont ruin my tummy tuck not to be shallow I just love I dont have a tummy anymore, thank you for giving me advice to Merry Christmas! It shouldn't do as the laparascopic wounds are very small. There shouldn't be any damage to your abdominal muscles. I don't think this is the right terminology for the surgery you're considering. A 'laproscopy' involves entering through the abdomen where as a 'vaginal hysterectomy' involves entering through the vagina. I wouldn't have thought a hysterectomy would involve both of these procedures. It's probably best to speak to your consultant for more information involving the different surgeries available. You'll get the best answer from them. No, it won't ruin it at all. think you need to look at the op again,are you sure that's the right tittle?maybe its a hysterectomy by vaginal suction??? |
