I had a partial hysterectomy a 1 1/2 years ago and now I have a cyst.?

I have been complaining of pain on my left side of abdomen and back for at least 6 months. My left hip and outlying area feels pain within 1/2 hour of sitting or walking or just standing in place. If my bladder is full or i eat too much i also feel pain. I have intermittent constipation and diarhea. The Doc. finally did a CT scan and discovered that I have a mass on my left side. He referred me to a Gyno and I have to have an Ultrasound to see how big the cyst is on Monday and bloodwork will be done also. Please help I am worried that it chances are it could be cancer.

Don't get worked up, and just relax. Just because they found something doesn't mean cancer, I lost my left ovary because when they removed it it weighed 2.2 lbs and was the size of a small grapefruit, and it wasn't cancer, it was just defective. That happen when I had my tubal done, then I had my hysterectomy 8 years later and I have 1 ovary left, so I don't need hormone replacement therapy. BUT the doctor told me at the time of my hysterectomy that my right ovary could do what my left did the chances are high, or that my ovary could just shut down completely and shrivel up and have to be removed, according to the doctors once you start touching the female parts, the other parts are just as easy to go defective, but that doesn't mean cancer. Never worry about cancer unless you are told you have cancer, then you worry about it until then you don't have it, so don't worry, it is a waste of time and emotion and will drain you and make you susceptible to other things so be happy and healthy because right now you do not have cancer, do you? Good Luck
