Hysterectomy & sex life? |
I'm about to have a hysterectomy. Will this affect my sex life. I'm keeping my ovaries. My hysterectomy was the best decision that I ever made! No more periods, cramps, tampons/pads, water retention...or fear of pregnancy! With all those things OUT of your life, your sex life will improve!!!! kjl Mine was fine until I had to have my last ovary removed because it dropped and attached itself to a place it shouldnt have...twice. nope I had a complete about 20 years ago I was 30 and it was the best thing for a sex life Ive had a great sex life and still going strong about twice a week not bad for 50ish woman right. good luck and relax, I had one a year ago and it has not affected mine. Its the same as it was before. no it wont... but you wont have any excuse anymore ha ha i had one at the age of 40.It never affected me. Sometimes you might have vaginal dryness.Just get you some KY gel....... Always get a second opinion. Everybody is different and I just say a procedure that they do for that which is less pain-full. It is called laproscopsy. It came out new and an OBGYN is teaching other out their on how to do it and less painful for women. But always get a second opinion because my friend had it at a young age and she suffered form pain the rest of her life. So my husband thought i was cheated there for awhile till the doctor told him . after it the female body is a mystry and has to get back to normal and sometimes its not ever. Its jsut liek menopause .. they told me and they were right . i was 25 when i had mine im 32 now no effect on the sex life You should do fine. I didn't have the hysterectomy but I had my tubes tied and I felt liberated cause I didn't have to worry about getting pregnant and could enjoy my sex life even more. |

You can't get on Medicare/cade? You should at least be able to get on one of those. If you can't work, try to file for SSI, they'd probably deny you the first time, but send in a let... Find another doctor ...I had a hysterectomy at 40. Part of the problem is that having a hyster can change your hormones. The balance of estrogen, cortisol, and lots of other chemical transmitters in you body changes when... The doctor will give medication that will work so dont worry about getting something that will not help the pain. As far as what to expect post-op it depends on the type of procedure you have if it... I just had one on March 13. The doctor left my ovaries. I never realized how much I used my stomach muscles for EVERYTHING. Becareful not to do too much. I ended up back in the hospital just th... Really, you shouldn't do any exercise unless you check with your doctor first. I had a hysterectomy and couldn't sit still while my house got filthy so I started cleaning. 8 months lat... |
