Has anyone had a hysterectomy?. What did you go through, and the emotions you felt.? |
I tried for a baby with my husband for 6 years just be told when i got tested that we couldn't have one & that i needed a hysterectomy instead. I was a bit younger than you but had finished haveing my family but still felt really sad that it was really all going to be over. I was really nervous before the op but they are pretty straight forward and they give you good pain relief afterwards I came home on the 4th day but you are not allowed to drive or do anything heavy for a few weeks, after that a full recovery and just think no more periods! |
