I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago, are my eggs still good for a surrogate? I am 35.? |
I am wanting a baby. I am 35, had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago. My mom has volunteered to be my surrogate. She is 53. Are my eggs still viable for conception? My fiance is 40. What are our chances of conceiving? Any information would be great. I had 2 transfers at age 39, and it did not work, but that doesn't mean yours won't!!! When you look for an IVF doctor, ask them their success statistics for your age group and find the best one...just don't take the one closest to you!! Your mom can be checked out to see if she can carry for you. It has been done before with an older carrier. Your eggs might be totally fine. I'm 38 and I'm still popping them out like clockwork every 24 days! A simply U/S would show you whether you're getting follicles ready or not. I think that they would be. Good luck |
