Problems after hysterectomy ??

i am having a radical hysterectomy and oopherectomy thursday and was wondering any problems anyone had or just any general info - how long it took to heal etc.. thanks

You didn't say if you are exactly what kind of hysterectomy you are having (there are a few), but in general recovery is about 3-4 weeks. Some people heal faster than others, so it is a personal thing. Definitely don't plan to go back to work until you have a two week post op check with your doctor.
