Cost of hysterectomy

Hello:

I would appreciate if somebody could give me a cost estimate of the following medical procedure:

Radical Abdominal Hysterectomy w/ Bilateral Total Pelvic Lymphadenectomy (with or without ovaries/fallopian tubes)

Also, which hospital/city this estimate is for.

QnA

The cost of hysterectomy/oophorectomy will vary, but in general will run between $7,000 and $15,000 in the United States (including surgery fees and related hospital/staff fees). Because there is usually a hospital stay after the procedure, and since hospitals charge by the day, this will effect the overall price depending on the duration of the stay.

hope that helps

I had insurance and mine was 5000 fifteen years ago
