Discharge following hysterectomy and bladder lift surgery? |
I had a hysterectomy and bladder lift 4 weeks ago. I am still have discharge, Sometimes I also have bright red spotting. Is this normal? I started estrogen 2 weeks ago and it seems the discharge has increased. Should I contact my doctor? I had a hysterectomy about 5 years ago. I was lucky to have very minor discharge after but was told it could go on up to 6 weeks. If it is very abnormal and unusual visit your doctor. I didn't need estrogen so I can not comment on that. Good luck. I am 3 weeks post hysterectomy today, I bled very lightly for a day or two nothing since, didn't even open the pads I bought for home, I don't know anything about the bladder lift. when is your next follow up with your doctor? 4 weeks is considered long enough and you should have recovered somewhat from your surgery. you should probably contact your doctor about that issue I didn't bleed for that long, slight discharge for a couple of days that's all,go see you doctor sweetheart. I would just in case. I don't think I bleed that long. Were your ovaries removed as well? |
