Another question on Partial Hysterectomy? |
Asking woman who have had a partial. Have you had any problems? How long were you down for meaning recovery time? They are going to cut in threw my c-section line. Does anyone know how long after I will bleed? I do have a 4yr old and a 2yr old how long after will I need help with my girls? Thank you so very much! I had a complete hysterectomy in 1996, and had a long recovery time, but I am probably much older than you (I was 46). You should not have any bleeding if they remove your uterus and cervix, as they sew up the top of the vagina. However, you are going to need help lifting your girls for at least a month. Don't risk hurting yourself after the surgery or you could have to go back and get something fixed. Just have faith in your doctors and you will be fine. |
