Anyone have an outpatient hysterectomy?


Has anyone ever had an outpatient hysterectomy procedure. If not outpatient, how long was your hospital stay, and was it painful. Thanks!!

I had mine 3 years ago and I was in the hospital 4 days, but I had to be cut open too..It all depends on how they perform the surgery, most doctors like the laser where you can be released the next day if you walk down the hall...Good luck!
its not day surgery but it does hurt my grandma

had it and was there for almost a month
i had outpatient.n oh yes!!!!!!!!!!it's very painfull for about 2 or 3 days.you will recover faster by taking walks real small walks at 1st.
