Pain 18 month after a full hysterectomy?

I am still getting a lot of pain after a full hysterectomy I have had all sorts of test but they can still not get to the bottom of it has any body any answers please I am also having hot flushes and gaining weight

Did you by chance have the hyst. for Endometriosis? If so, recurrent disease may be causing your symptoms. Don't let anyone tell you that Endo is cured by a hyst., because that's just not true and they should open a medical journal once in a while and read up on Endo and Aromatase expression. If your hyst. was for something else, perhaps whatever you had the surgery for has recurred. Did they talk about maybe doing a laparoscopy to check and see if anything is going on and/or treat it during the lap? Also, you could have extensive adhesions, which occur post-op after every surgery, regardless of whether adhesion barriers were used or not. If you are having pain, it needs to be addressed. Don't stop searching until you find a doc who believes and will help you. Also ask about ovarian remnant syndrome. Good luck and feel better.
could be you are going through Pre-Menopause
EXERCISE!
I had one too. It will be a year in August. I don't have any pain. I do have hot flashes. I take OTC Estevan and black cohush. They work well. I take it religiously. I hope you feel better.
