| *Women health>>>Hysterectomy |
For those of you who have had hysterectomy's what was the final straw that made you so ok I'm doing this |
I can't stand this pain anymore I'm having one on the 11th and I'm barely 30. I have fibroids, polyps and cysts. have been fighting with this since about 96 adn am finally to the point that I've accepted (after 2 miscarriages) that I'm not goign to ave a child of my owna dn taht there's adoption so why continue to fight it. they wanted me to do more pills, shots, etc but I'm tired of being their guinea pig and the last pill I nearly bled out from I had mine when I was 30.. I had endometriosis really bad and back then they had no treatment for it except hysterectomy.. They had to take everything.. If you have Endometriosis, get something done fast.. Mine spread to the abdominal area.. Best Wishes to you... Do you have fibroids/cysts or really heavy periods with severe cramping? Perhaps, instead of having a Hysterectomy you can have a Myomectomy procedure done. (Your uterus stays in place, and only the cysts is removed). My Doctor wanted me to have a hysterectomy but I went for a third opinion and another Specialist suggested a myomectomy. I'm not sure what your diagnosis is, but you might want to look into other options before you have the hysterectomy in case it isn't really a hysterectomy your in need of. (My case is a perfect example), I almost had the hysterectomy, not knowing there were other choices of that same type of surgery that could be done. I hope this helps a little. :) My surgery is scheduled for July. too much pain and after the womb weigh 559 grams. It's been 7 years. |
