If a woman has had a partial hysterectomy, how will you know if you are going through menopause? |
If a woman has had a partial hysterectomy, how will you know if you are going through menopause? Every woman has varying symptoms to each other, when going through menopause. Some earlier than others, some lucky souls have no signs. Some common symptoms are; Mood swings Night sweats (yuck) Aches and pains Headaches, anxiety Itchy dry skin, or creepy crawly skin (so annoying) Depression Low libido Sleep disturbances Brain fog (forgetfulness) I have included a few links for you to check out Source(s): I was 30 when I had a patial hysterectomy, seriously not fun, but soooo glad I had it. http://www.womhealth.org.au/factsheets/h... http://www.womenshealth.com/library/hyst... You will start having hot flashes, some difficulty sleeping, some irritability. I think the irritability is because of the hot flashes and lack of sleep!!! LOL. I went to Walgreens and bought there brand of natural aids. Sort of like a generic "Estrovin". It definitely helped. I'm assuming you mean that your ovaries are still in place...if so and you're having some symptoms you're not sure are related to menopause you can go to the doctor and they'll run a test to check your hormone levels. If you have had a partial then I am assuming that you still have your ovaries. If that is the case you will still have the symptoms of menopause and believe me you will know when you get them. Mine started with the hot flashes and it feels like your body is on fire and nothing you can do to cool down. well if your going through menopause u will have hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats. cant sleep i know because im going trogh it right now. GOOD LUCK hope u get through it The best way to know for sure is to get your hormone levels tested. Some women do not get the classic signs such as hot flashes and night sweats. |
