Is it possible to get pregnant after having a hysterectomy? |
I had a hysterectomy this coming april will be 2 years ago. They took everything but my ovaries. I have been eating like a horse the last couple of days. My breast have gotten bigger and more tender and my tummy is getting bigger. Is it possible to be pregnant after the surgery? Nope. Completely impossible. You have no uterus so even if an egg became fertilized it would have nothing to implant itself in to grow into a baby. The egg would just be expelled from the body. But on the upside: No more periods! Absolutely not. If you had a hysterectomy you have no uterus. Also, if you still have your ovaries, you probably still get PMS...which explains the breast tenderness and the 'eating like a horse' syndrome. |
