When does your swollen belly do down after having a hysterectomy?


i only had my surgery two weeks ago and help I cannot fit into my jeans. when does the swelling go down.

wait one more week if it has not gone down go talk to your doctor!
it could take awhile for your muscles to recover from this surgery. I had mine 3 years ago and it took a couple months until I was completely back to pre-surgery size. just be easy on yourself, this was a horrible shock to your body in more ways than one. Just get you some comfortable stretchy pants and relax.
Swelling after abdominal surgery is normal and to be expected.
