Are there any documented cases where a female was able to conceive after a total hysterectomy? Women who have them don't get periods either because there's not uterine linging to shed. Hm, what a concept. Total hysterectomy, vs simple hysterectomy implies removal of the ovaries also. If there is something suspect in you or someone you know (ie enlarging belly), and they have had both ovaries and uterus removed, it is tumor until proven otherwise. |
