I had hysterectomy 3 years ago, my breasts are sore like before menstral, what is going on?

Presumably your ovaries were left.
you therefore would still ovulate and have all the normal hormonal changes but obviously not menstruate. You would still have PMT etc. Source(s): doctor
your body is still releasing hormones and getting prepared for menstrual cycle.
Was it a complete hysterectomy or was part of an ovary left so you would go through a natural menopause? I have part of an ovary, therefore I still get symptoms
as of I still get my period. This maybe what is happening to you. Or you may have a cyst in the breast.
