Post pregnancy incontinence???very embarassing and need help?

Hi, my son is almost 2 and a half months old.Ive done keegalls everyday but am having problems (still) with incontenance.I will go a few days without a problem and then not wear a pad for protection bc of positive outcome last couple days then i have an accident say in a store..is this normal or do i need to go see my doctor.he said at 6 weeks that it was normal and it wasnt a big deal...bc forceps were used incorrectly could something have happened that i will need more than exercise?HELP lol

Hey..sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who's ever had that problem! I had incontinence almost every day until my son was about 6 months old. i had NEVER had a prob when I was preg so it was a huge shock. I wore a big pad every day just in case of accident and there were quite a few time I was thankful I did! Keep doing your kegels..I couldn't even do them at first after the birth, but I can do them better then ever now. My son's 15 months and I'm 15 weeks preg so have been having a bit of a problem leaking when coughing, etc. (because of the preg), but nothing like before. My doctor told me kegels are the best thing for it. If you're not having any more kids, surgery may be an option but as I plan on having more I didn't want it. It WILL go away..I know how embarrassing and depressing it is..I cried about it every day while my son was a newborn. If you have any more questions feel free to message me:) Good luck!

I'd go back to your doctor. He'll be able to tell you if you can do it with kegels or if something else is wrong.
