Squeeze the same muscles you use to hold your urine and hold for a count of 10. Helps to do about 200 a day. Your Dr or midwife can give more specific instructions, or try starting and stopping your urine on the potty to get used to this excercise. A keigel is an exercise designed to increase the muscle tone of your lower pelvic floor area. google it and you will get a full explanation. Well, I practiced this with my two pregnancies. It helps to strengthen your muscles down there by restricting and then releasing your urine flow. For me it helped with my labor and delivery, and its always good to give all of the muscles you can a workout, right? |
