What would cause a person in their 30s to have incontinence? Actually incontinence is more common than you think. It can be a range of things from neurological issues to weak urethra, bladder or ureter muscles. Most people mistake it for a disease when in fact its a condition. For most women in their 30's its usually caused from the after effects of child birth. This ca be fixed with minor surgery to retighten your muscles giving you an improved, tighter barrier to hold the urine and reduce sudden urges. infection in the bladder. enlarged prostate gland . cancer . neurological disorders. some chance some medications might for some people cause this. Sometimes childbirth can cause temporary incontinence. Also if a person has had a catheter tube instilled for a few days it can cause them to be incontinent. Muscle relaxants can relax the sphincter muscle too much and make you unable to hold back the urine. There are many reasons why a person may become incontinent but I would hope that, for a person in her 30s, it would be temporary. |
