Child urninary infection incontinence? Parents only no stupid answers? |
I have been waiting for the doctor to call me back for ages now, but thought I would ask on here just in case anyone else has had this problem with there child or know of what it could be. I was thinking maybe an urinary infection but not sure, he is not complaining of tummy ache & does not have a temp, he did complain of a sore willy the other day,He had thrush last month that did get treated but this is something different that I have not had to deal with, with any of my children & if there arms are not hanging off the doctor will wait till late as poss to call you back as usual. He goes to the toilet like clock work when he needs to go he goes, I have never had any problem of him wetting himself or nothing, but for the last couple of days he is dribbling in his underwear & some times I don't think he knows he has done it. Nothing has changed in his routine so I don,t know what it could be & he is not the lazy kinda kid he always goes etc. My guess is a urinary tract infection. I know you probably do not go into the bathroom with him, but if his urine has a strong odor, that is a sure sign. My daughter used to get them a lot. Usually she would get a prescription for Bacterium and after one day of taking it, the accidents would stop. Of course, she had to finish the whole prescription though ,or the infection would just come back. Best wishes! Source(s): Mother of 4 I've got 4 kids.... It's not exactly like anything I've seen, but my first thought was UTI (urinary tract infection). They don't always have a tummy ache or fever. Maybe while you're waiting for the doc, you could give him LOTS of cranberry juice? Child wetting himself ? that go's till around 12 years of age for some kids...what we did is make hm go to the toilet just before bed time..and wake him 2-3 hours later to go to the toilet ...we avoid him to drink soda or any sweet drinks..only water . after4-5 weeks he began to take care of himself and now he is 10 and we happy with him. Its my guess that he probably has a little urine infection, have you ever had one? it feels like you finnished peeing, only when you stand up you feel there is more to come, perhaps this is all thats wrong, and he just needs a little antibiotic to clear things up, hope he is ok xx |
