PCOS=Infertility?

Hi i'm 18 and I pretty sure that I have pcos now, I started my menstrual at 10 yrs old, since I was 9 I had body hair that wasn't normal for a girl, I have dark spots on my body like between my chest, under my arms, on my neck, I've researched the disease and it seemed to fit everything I had, I'm really scared because I've always wanted children and I was told pcos causes infertility, is there a chance I can get pregnant?

Hi, don't worry, many many women with PCOS end up getting pregnant. You will most likely need "help" (fertility drugs, etc.) but my dr. says it's one of the easiest infertility problems to work with...My advice is to find a good ob/gyn who is also an endocrinologist. That way you already have a good dr. when you decide to have a baby.

yes u can get preg w/ pcos.. w/ or w/o the help from fertility drugs, such as clomid, metformin and many others....u should make an appt w/ ur gyno and tell her all ur symptoms , ur young and have a lot of time my dear...good luck to u

yes yo can still conceive with pcos, I've read alot of success stories from many different ladies, I have been ttc#1 for a lil while now but I guess its taking long because my symptoms are worst, but I am currently taking metformin and clomid, if your not having a reguler cycle go to a gyno and ask them to either perscribe bc pills or metformin,
