Unexplained infertility and Follistim?

Has anyone gotten pregnant using Follistim (gonatropin) injections ans hCG? I have "unexplained" infertility. TTC #2 for 24 months. Drs can't find anything wrong with either one of us. He suggest to try Follistim and hCG. i just want to be assured that people out there have gotten pregnant with this regimen before. Please help me!!!!

Are you doing an IUI with that as well?

Injectables such as the one that you mentioned are quite powerful (multiple follicles, so potentially a lot of eggs). My wife got hyperstimulated couple of times and had to abort cycle. The third try worked (along with hcG trigger) but we did IUI as well. So, it does work - a lot more effective than clomid. Just need to be monitored very closely by doctors.
