Does insurance cover infertility treatments? |
my husband is getting insurance april 1st its tufts does anyone know if this will cover infertility treatments? we've been trying over a year Unfortunately, insurance companies tend to offer the minimum amount of coverage and in the United States the amount of coverage is often mandated by the state so it is going to depend on where you live or where your employers headquarters is located along with who their insurance is through. I would say your best bet would to be to call the insurance company and ask. They would be able to tell you if it covers even a little bit of it. Good luck and lots of baby dust to you! Some plans will, and some plans won't. You can call your provider and find out exactly what your plan covers (sometimes it's a percentage, and some treatments may be covered while others are not). |
