Baby baby baby!! infertility.. fertility?

Has anyone ever feared or thought they wouldnt be able to have children and then *pop* u have kiddies?

I have that fear of not being able to have kids in the future for soem reason. One of my greatest fears actually.. or even miscarry and not being able to come to full term. I think coz my mother had problems during her pregnancies and having to be careful all the time. Now i have this thought that i will be the same or that it will be difficult for me to concieve to full term to healthy babies.

Am i being over paranoid? i dream a fair bit about being a mother. I do have a boyfriend and we plan/hope/pray to have healthy babies in the near furture

Seeing as your mum had so much trouble its not surprising your anxious! My mum took 6 years to conceive, then had no troubles. I too used to think I would have great difficulties, maybe even have to have fertility treatment. But my fears were unfounded, I feel pregnant accidently the first time which I unfortunately misscarried. Then had no trouble conceiving my son a few months later and now am 19 weeks pregnant with a girl after the first month of trying! I couldnt beleive my luck! Best not to think too much about it until the time to try for babies comes :) Whatever will be will be.

I would say that this is completely normal. I personally was the exact opposite I thought that it was my god given right to have children and it would be really easy. Boy was I wrong I ttc for 2 and a half years and had 4 miscarriages and was put onto fertility treatment chlomid to help and it did I am now 9 weeks preg with my first and everything is good and the baby is healthy.

My advice to you would be to stay positive and to start charting your ovulation to give you a rough idea of how long your cycles are and then that would give you a huge head start when you go to try for the baby. You could also invest in a persona fertility monitor. My boyfriends sister ttc for 5 years and now has a healthy baby girl after using this.

Awww god bless you bub, I'm confident we will be able to concieve when we're ready :D. Even if it takes all the time and effort that these people who answered ur question went through. We will get there MMMWWAA!

how about checking with your doctor?
I;m starting to think the same thing, but i've also been under a lot of stress and i am keeping my head up until i calm down. Put it in God's hands.
