PCOS with Infertility? |
I am married since 2years, my wife diden't conceive, from day one we never use contraceptives, having regular sex, refered gynacologist, he suggested follicular studies, result of 4 follicular studies in 2 years of span is no egg growth. Term is PCOS. How to get rid of this and how to conceive ? Your wife cannot get rid of PCOS, but the symptoms of the syndrome can be treated. Treatment can consist of Metformin to help control the testosterone and insulin levels which can inhibit proper formation of eggs and then fertility meds such as Clomid, and injectable Follistim and Gonal-F for example. Hi, you can't get rid of pcos but you sure can treat it, there is a pill call metformin that helps with basically all the symptoms, but then she'll need also a pill call clomid to help with the growth of her egg. I am also a pcos cycter and I have been trying for a few months also and finally got a positive on my pregnancy test, I did 7 cycles of clomid and 6 with metformin hi I have PCOS, I have a beautiful 14mth old son, I tried to conceive for 4 yrs, your doctor should be able to prescribe a range of medication. I conceived by using Metformin for 6mths, until i had regular periods, then i was put on clomid and i conceived... Good Luck! You can treat this with fertility drugs from a fertility specialist. I think one of between both of you or may be both needs some medication. discuss it with your doctor. If its necessary then take some tests and sonograms |
