Infertility? Caused by Enlarged testicle, anyone go through this???

I asked this question in mens health but didnt get any worth while response so I thought Id try agian. Ill start by saying we Have been to the doctor for this, so please dont reply with go to the doctor..
my fiance has one testicle that has a kind of growth/enlarged hes always had it, his brother has it too. I dont remember what the doctor said this was called though. sometimes the rowth becomes very sore mostly after sex, the doc said that it can ber heraditary and that it can also be do in part to childhood trama (riding bikes a lot ect..) the doc said it is fine for now, eventually it may need to be removed if it gets too large or painful, but will grow back if we do have it removed. the reason i am looking more into it is because we are having trouble getting preganant, and the doc said the condition could cause infertility =( if anyone knows anything about this condition, or even just the name it would help, that way I can do some more research on this condition thanks in advance

It was about 10 yrs ago when we went to the doctors for it, so at that time it was not as important because the doctors said it would cause any serious problems and we were not even considering children then we were only in high school. I am just trying to do some research before going to the doctors so I can know what questions to ask ect...
