I dont know what to do i have had two failed IVF my doctor is confuse he said i have unexplain infertility .?

I have four frozen eggs left with my last ivf treatment should i get another doctors opinon cos i have had two failed ivf and my doctor still can not tell me why it failed.,, my period is regular 28 day i ovulate on the 14 day like every normal woman , i am confused

I'm so sorry! I've been though 3 failed IVF cycles and it hurts so bad, especially after all that we put our bodies through, physically and emotionally. (((((((Hug))))))

Has your current RE gone though all of the recommended testing such as checking your tubes for hydro's, checking if your lining was big enough, checking your uterus for polyps? If not, I suggest to do so. Some also recommend doing some immune testing. I was unexlpained too until my tubes were looked at. Mine are scarred.

It is recommended that you switch doctors (RE's) after two failed cycles. Are you sure that you are at a good clinic with good success rates? A clinic is only as good as the lab and the culture medium. I would look into other clinics and their success rates for your age group. Check out http://sart.org/ for clinics and their success rates in your area.

My next move would be would be to seek a second opinion if possible. You can transfer all of your medical records to another clinic and just do a consultation and even decide to just stay with the same clinic. The frozen ones, unfortunately, usually have a much lower chance of success.

I hope it is just a matter or time for you!

Unfortunately, even IVF is no guarantee for success . . . but I would definitely get a second opinion . . . it never hurts to have a fresh pair of eyes look over your medical records and IVF results . . .

Best wishes for your next cycle!

After 2 failed IVF, it is a good decision to get a second opinion. Make sure the 2nd facility has good success rate and before doing another cycle of IVF, they should do further testing on you and your husband. Like the above person said, make sure you have had a HSG test done to test for tubal problems and hydrosalpinx.

Unexplained infertility ---- Check out this avenue of research ! For some silly reason, European fertility specialist seem to know more about it than American specialists.
This is probably a new tip that you haven't ran across yet.
Wheat is now being found to cause miscarriages and infertility in many women trying to get pregnant. My daughter tried for six years, no luck. I ran across the information that wheat can cause problems with pregnacies for various reasons. One was a simple thinning of the blood, kind of like what happens when they have people take asprin daily to avoid heart attacks. Well, wheat apparently can do the same thing. The other problem with wheat, was related to undiagnosed celiac disease. The information online and in the books states that it is far more commonly known in Europe than in the U.S. My daughter said she'd tried everything else in six years, skipping wheat for a few months wouldn't be a great sacrifice. At least it wasn't expensive. Guess what ? It worked ! Of all the strategies available for tackling infertility, this should be one of the first ones recommended. Cost nothing ! Easy to do ! Substitute Oatmeal for breakfast cereal. Eat Rice pudding. Have a corn tortilla. Quick Barley is good in soups and stews, and it cooks in 10 minutes, just like macaroni. Oh, and Wal-Mart now sells a macaroni and spaghetti version that is wheat free.
The words "gluten-free" means that you are choosing a food alternative that just might give you a nudge in the direction you wish to go.

Like the person said above there are no guarantees with IVF. A second opinion can't hurt, that's for sure. Get a copy of all your records with your current doctor and get a consult with another.
