im 41 going on 42 been ttc for 9 mths had no luck had LOADS of stress due to teenagers etc .. going for all the routine tests at the hosp .. wondering if anyone has had similar and managed to conceive ? dont say its age because i had a preg last year which i had to terminate ...not interested in peoples views on TOP ..thanks to all in advance xx There have been many women over 41 who conceive naturally. The odds are lower, but not impossible. Well my friend has just got pregnant with her second one, a year after having her first (my godchild) She will be 40 in August & apart from a slight lack of education in her teens has never been pregnant. Before this she was stressed, mainly about not getting pregnant &started some tests and suddenly got her wish! They say, once someone verifies all is ok and that something CAN be done, you relax and it happens. I have a family member in the same boat (Honestly) however she has been trying for about 2 years now. We get many, many customers who rent a doppler after years of infertility. Go on to baby zone.com and you will read great stories - a lot of people don't talk about being infertile because of the stigma, but realize there are a lot of people out there. Yea a friends of mine ttc for 4 years and when they finally stopped ttc they ended up pregnant. Even there doctor had given up. Good luck and sticky baby dust. |
