How to tell DH I am pregnant after infertility?

My DH and I have been TTC for almost 3 years. Last month we had our second IUI. I tested today and I got a positive result. How to tell my husband when he gets back from work. I want to make it fun and meaninful. Thank you.

Give him this poem to read:

I do not have a face to see,
Or put inside a frame.
I do not have soft cheeks to kiss.
I don't yet have a name.

Not yet can you hold my tiny hands,
Nor whisper in my ear.
It's still too soon to sing a song,
Or cuddle me so near.

But all that will change come this __insert month you are due__;
When they say I am due.
I am your new son/daughter;
And I can't wait until I meet you!

All I ask between now and then
Is your love for me to grow.
I promise I'll be worth the wait;
Just think of all the joy we'll know!

So as you're waiting patiently,
Please pray lots of prayers for me.
I cannot wait to be a part
Of this wonderful family!

Write on a t-shirt or tape it with a piece of paper or something and write, "due in ____" or "milf" or "baby on board" or something.

Make a meal with everything baby. (ie. baby carrots)

GIVE HIM AN EARLY FATHERS DAY CARD== even if you only have time to just make a home-made one at home. Tell him you want to give him a card and you just can't wait any longer to give it to him

Have a bunch of balloon in the bed room and have them blue and pink and have we are having a baby wrote on them and have him all kinds of baby food made for dinner and see how long it takes for him to relize and if he don't when he goes to the bedroom he will and run to walmart and they is a shirt up there that say if your walmart has one it says "Rumors are true i'm pregnant" see how long it takes him to figure it out

I plan on telling my husband by going to the Target and getting something like a bib or a toy, something that says 'I love Daddy' and put it in a gift bag. Then buy a card that just says how much you love him. Have him open the card first and just tell him you wanted to get him a little something because you were thinking of him. He will not be expecting that!!

Good Luck

wait till tomorrow go to the store and pick something up for a baby, put it on his pillow and watch his face as he finds out. its awesome to see the emotions play out.

just tell him after you had sex
