Does infertility run in my family? |
My mother's family is not the one to discuss these things but heres the history. my gmother had 8 kids, my mom is 1 of 3 sisters. My mom's older sister never had kids, she was very fond of me and when people asked why she didn't have children shed just smile. My mom said that she tried to conceive and wanted to adopt. My mom's younger sister has been married for almost 2 years and has told my mother she doesn't use any sort of protection, they also found something on her cervix, some cells, she wouldn't say and had to removed. My mom has always had really bad menstrual cycles, heavy bleeding, bad cramps and clotting, sign of menorrhagia, but never got treated. My period is very irregular and is 45, even 52 days apart, from when i finish and start my periods. My mother knows its healthy to know family background but they won't talk. Does infertility rn in my family? my fam doesnt like to talk about it either, so i know how you feel. It might run in her family, but remeber that you are also part of your dad's family too. I dunno about THAT, but I'd get checkt if I were U. A normal menstrual cycle involves 3 heavy days & 4 light. U MAY even wanna check yer habits: Do U exert yer body regularly? heavy exercise/hi impact areobix can stop yer periods. I knew some 1 who told me of his 1 friend whose periods had stopt & the doc warned her 2 slow down. Lo & behold, she dint listen & died shortly afterward. hope this helps. I give a link. Hope this help you to answer all of your curiosity about inheritage infertility and it also talked about abnormal of menstrual period. did you tell a doctor about your irregular period?and keep asking your mom about medical history in the family. |
